BarMaker offers a versatile toolset for creating and scanning QR Codes and Barcodes, as well as transferring contact information, location details, and clipboard data. The application allows users to generate or scan QR Codes and Barcodes with ease, providing functionality to push scan results directly to a Mac or PC browser for convenient viewing.

Customization options include modifying the color scheme, embedding images within QR Codes, and adding custom text, enabling users to tailor codes to specific needs. Additionally, the app integrates seamlessly with Safari: users can share URLs directly from the browser to generate QR Codes effortlessly. An advanced feature supports scanning for white barcodes on black backgrounds, expanding usability across different barcode types.

On the iPad version, Drag & Drop functionality enhances workflow efficiency. Users can drag barcode images from the app into other applications or drag items from Favorites or History lists into the app to automatically generate barcode images for further use. Barcode images can also be dropped into the main user interface to decode their contents directly.
